This game features one of the most original, intriguing plots of the last centuries: you are the grandson of an elderly scientist who appears to be a genius at creating new powerful weapons. A wicked criminal has kidnapped the man and, appearingly, some other members of the family... your girlfriend, your sister, mum, dad etc. Of course you are a muscular thug with no brains, and instead of calling the police or asking a favour to mafia you decide to go all alone with some heavy gun, kill all the baddies and set your relatives free... hey, haven' t I heard this all before ?July 12, 2001 by Lorenzo
"No Second Prize" is still the best in his category, but Team Suzuki scores a close 2nd. It' s a good, playable arcade game that also gives you the feeling of "being there" of a true simulation. Gremlin was famous for its good racing games, and this one doesn' t fall behind the standard.July 10, 2001 by Lorenzo
Every Bitmap Brothers game featured excellent graphics, and this one is no exception. It' s just like the Amiga version, although slightly darker, with excellent sprites and a very fluid animation and scrolling. Everything is well detailed and a pleasure to watch. Ok, to be really picky we could say that there' s just one stadium and the players look all the same, but hey, this is no Fifa 2000...

If it was still a full priced game I wouldn' t really suggest anyone to buy it. Actually, it's great fun for about 2 hours, but then it becomes really boring. 2 players mode is much better anyhow, and playing it with a friend solves all those damn AI problems. Actually, the game gets harder this way even if your friend has the IQ of an amoeba...

Do you know golf ? That old English sport where snobbish-looking people aimlessly wander around a large field, hitting a ball with a club and trying to send it into a small hole? Well, forget it... this isn't actually a golf sim. This is an old arcade game involving bouncing burgers, pinballs, windmills, fairies and magic carpets. And it's much funnier than the real thing.
Last week a nice package came in the mail. Finally, the 2 volumes of 'We Love Atari' made it to my doorstep. These books by Karl Morris ooze passion and a true love for Atari. I was so impressed by the depth and amount of historical detail found in these books, I just had to contact Karl for an interview to find out how it all started. 'We Love Atari' covers the history of the brand from 1972 till 1996. Karl is not new to the Atari scene, going back as early as 1998 when he created his first Atari website. Want to learn more about some of the greatest Atari-related literature? Look no further.
