There were not many famous programmers for the Atari ST in Germany. Guido Henkel is one of them for sure. Games like Hellowoon, Ooze and Lords of Doom on the ST or the Das schwarze Auge trilogy - aka the Realms of Arkania in English - and Planescape: Torment will be unforgotten. ‘Hellowoon’ was the first game, that I bought for the ST, I had the idea to do this interview over a year ago and to my pleasure, Guido agreed with the words: ‘Yes, of course. Straight after the release of the 'new' game Red Ace follows an interview with the creator of this long lost classic. Tony Goacher was a software contractor for Red Rat software in the 80s, and as a fan of the classic Psygnosis game Barbarian, he wanted something similar but with a little sci-fi twist to it. Laurent Kermel is one of the few sceners who have been really responsible for some fresh air in the Atari ST scene. He has released the great shooter Bold, and a few weeks ago, another lost treasure called Wiliness 3 was released. Laurent is a game creator who has some really cool tricks up his sleeve. If you think about shareware or freeware games on the Atari ST, there is definetely one name that will pop up ... Dave Munsie. Dave wrote a lot of classic arcade games for the ST, and best of all, they were almost always free. His games were featured on numerous coverdisks for big magazines back in the days. Amiga Music Preservation (AMP), a non profit association, is running the biggest and most comprehensive database ever about amiga music and amiga musicians. All the composers of the Amiga deserve to be remembered and to have their work preserved. We tried all we could on our own but although it's growing all the time, now we seriously need you to help us one way or another.
