Screenshot of Joust Every games fan in his 20's must have probably played this classic "ostrich battling" game. Originally developed in 1982 by Williams for the arcade market, it has now found its place on almost every home system available. And the Atari ST version, which dates back from 1986, might even be considered the best version yet! "Joust" is known to be one of the greatest 2 player games ever created, and I used to play this title a lot with friends back in them days. Let's give this classic a closer look ...

Very 80ish console game - controls are easy to master. Make sure to hit the buddies from above or you'll die!

Another example for simple games that rule with their gameplay and not the techniques used to present the game.

I had this on cartridge on atari 8 bit.. played it a loooooot Smiley TSCC once planned a remake for 6 players called "JOUSTMENT DAY" ... well except for the name nothing was done :/

A true classic! This was actually the first game I ever played on the Atari ST, highly addictive... good gameplay.
