A major hit on the old Commodore 64, California Games was an incredibly stunning game for 1987 standards. It managed to recreate perfectly all those californian clicheès: those hot breezes, the sea, the sun, sand between your toes... anyway, this is an extremely enjoyable multi-event sports sim in the good ol' Epyx fashion, probably the best one ever produced.Read the review of California Games

ST Graveyard
I never really played the ST version of this game. But I was seriously addicted to the Lynx counterpart. The BMX racing level was top notch!

The Paranoid
A typical american ST conversion of that time. Nice graphics, bad sprite routines and no real scrolling.
However, the ST music by Ben Daglish clearly tops the original C64 music by Chris Grigg.
