A new disk from the famous D-Bug guys is now available. It features the following stuffs:
* Orbiter
* Well 'Ard
* The Adventures of Alice who went through the looking glass and came back, though not much changed
* In the Year 2093
We at Atari Legend also planed to release Orbiter very soon. Our member Avenger cracked this game long time ago but we didn't release it prompt enough. D-Bug were faster than us ;-)
Anyway we'll release it as soon as possible in a stand alone version. And don't forget to visit regulary because a lot of rare games will be posted there in the next weeks!
Now it's time for you to download D-Bug 189 on the official website.

The discussion began on the forum. After a request by Heavy Stylus and a hack by Mug UK, the author of Well 'Ard has posted his game freely.
There is no more need to enter a code in order to access all levels.
Well 'Ard is now freely distributed and you can download the full version here. Also see the codes on the same page.
Thanks to Simon Scott for this cool gift!

As promised two days ago, we bring you a rare game now! The name of the game is Vigilante. It was never correctly hacked, but here is a working version done by our marvellous member Klapauzius.
The original game has been supplied by cb and it required two disks. This version has been fully packed, filed and trained (still by Klapauzius). So it uses one single disk. The intro has been coded by Zorro 2 and designed by Mister A of No Extra.
Thanks to everyone who took part to this great release! Happy new year to all!

The webmaster of Megatari has recently archived two rare demos. mOa brings you so a megademo by Fanatics, and a preview of another megademo by Iron Dogs.
The first one is very a strange production since the authors claimed to rip all the code! Not sure it was fully ripped, most of the screens aren't original but a few of them are good. Maybe Rebel MC, the main coder of the band, will give more details as soon as possible. At least the gfx are good enough to make this megademo a nice production.
The second demo is just a screen from a megademo probably never finished by an unknown band. Anyway thanks to mOa for imaging both disks and uploading them. It's a nice gift for Xmas, of course!
Just one click to download the Totally Ripped Megademo and the Iron Dogs Megademo preview.

As mentioned by Cyclone of X-Troll on the forum, the new issue of Alive is out! It has been released one day after X-Mas (sorry for the delay with this news, but we weren't in town). It contains a lot of articles... and the results of the DHS compo 2005!
Alive comes bundled with a few goodies again:
. Drop da Bomb EP SNDH Files by Drop da Bomb
. CRY Viewer for TT by Ray / tSCc
. Atari Freaks Demo Sourcecode by Jace / STknights
. Fast Mandelbrot Iterations Sourcecode by Ray / tSCc
Don't wait: visit Alive website to download the new Xmas issue.
UPDATE: the web versions of Alive #11 and #12 are now available on the same site.
Xenon can easily be considered as the mother of the 16-bit shooters. It looks beautiful, it sounds cool and it plays great in the first level. After that, all hell breaks lose and the game starts to become unplayable for me. It's just extremely difficult.

Read the review of XenonWhat does ST stand for? Some people believe it is an abbreviation of "Sam Tramiel", head of Atari. Others say it is short for "16 32", cause the ST was the first in a line of 16 - 32 bit computers by Atari!
