Originally programmed by Mike Partington on the C64 as a darts practice utility and was called "Game On".

The game was mainly written in 1987/1988. Gremlin got the rights to publish the game and the game was renamed Ultimate Darts. The Atari and Amiga conversions followed. After quite a delay the game was released late in 1989.

As well as being a game this was the world's first darts practice utility because it had a real mode were you could play for real against all the top professinal players like Eric Bristow, Jocky wilson and John Lowe. Smiley

The Amiga and ST versions never quite played darts with the same accuracy of the C64 version which was a bit of a let down for those wanting to see a better 16 bit version. Pity.

The line up of darts players listed in the game are the BDO Darts rankings of 1987 not 1989 giving some indication of how long this game was in the pipe line Smiley

Overall , not a bad effort looking at the other darts games made for the ST.
