There is a complete walkthrough - albeit in a forum question-and-answer style - on this page.
It's based on the original Apple II GS version.
Other titbit of info (from the above thread):
The programmers were a two-man operation that called themselves JAM Software, although they only produced a few games under that name. By the time they turned twenty, they'd renamed their company... Naughty Dog. Yes, the same company that brought us Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter was already making games like this while they were still in high school.
