I think this was one of the few ST games I ever finished without cheating, even though it took me about three years to figure out how to get out of Level 2. Most of the "deaths" were hilarious and the sampled sound effects were brilliant, especially the little goblins in the dungeon level. I believe this was the game that some retailers refused to put on their shelves, due to the presence of Maria Whittaker's jubblies on the cover. So later editions just had Wolf on his own looking a bit cross.

This is a great sequal to the celebrated classic "Barbarian". Rather than just 1 on 1 fighting this added an exploration / adventure element. Of course there was still the "flying neck chop" and comedy death scenes.

The sampled sound was good for the time although there was no music.

Wolf from Gladiators was the model for the box art and title screen.
